Action of active substances

Chlorella

Chlorella is a microscopic algae of fresh water. This algae contains of chlorophyll, antioxidants, natural beta carotene, various vitamins, minerals and nucleic acids. Chlorella was discovered in XIX century but the beginning of thorough examination of chlorella started only after World War II. Interest about it increased in Japan and England when after many researches it was noticed that algae reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and retard the growth of cancer cells.
The cell walls of chlorella absorb and help to eliminate heavy metals and toxic substances that poison organism. Chlorella has a cleaning effect. Chlorella contains of beta carotene, vitamins C, E, selenium. These substances have antioxidative properties; they stimulate the activity of T cells and macrophages, increase organism's resistance to bacteria and viral infections.
Chlorophyll that is in the green algae stimulate the production of erythrocytes and hemoglobin, that is why it can be used in case of anemia.
Fibers of green algae improve digestion and resorption of alimentary substances, stimulate the peristalsis, protect from constipation.

Effectiveness proving scientific research

* 15 patients with malignant brain tumor - glioblastoma participated in clinical trial in the college of Virginia, 1990. They received chemotherapy or radiotherapy and chlorella preparation. It was noticed that the immunity system of the patients became much stronger and more than 2 years survival rate increased 40%. These are very good results because in case of glioblastoma 2 years survival rate is only 10%. It is noticed that chlorella preparations have radioprotective nad chemoprotective activity.
Chlorella stimulates immunity, reduces the proliferation and metastasation.
* In Japan, 1996, it was noticed that chlorella preparations even may reduce colds (27%), because chlorella stimulates production of interferon which is responsible for the strength of immunity. Chlorella stimulates tissue regeneration, wounds and ulcers healing, stimulates the production of interferon which activates the production of fibroblasts (cells of connective tissue). Besides it stimulates the elimination of heavy metals (hydrargyrum, cadmium, uranium) and toxic compounds (dioxin) from the organism.
* Scientists from Japan proved that chlorella stimulates the elimination of uranium and dioxin from the organism (Horikoshi et al. 1979).
* Dentists advice patients with mercurial teeth fillings to use chlorella preparations. (O'Brien 2001).
