2011-07-01 A joint venture "AkonitPharma" in Belarus (founded by “Aconitum”) registered three popular homeopathic medicines for sleep disorders, nerve sensitivity, and heart ailments - Acosedum, Aconervinum and Acocordilum. These medicines have been produced for the Lithuanian market for more than ten years, and consumers recognized them as safe and non-addictive. In Lithuania these medicines have won various awards due to high standards of quality and production. From 2013, once the co-registration of medicines in CIS countries will have entered into force, these medicines will be supplied to Russia, Kazakhstan and other neighbouring countries. 2011-06-01 JSC "Aconitum" started exporting a refined product “Osteolis” to Finland. This product contains an increased amount of vitamin D3, which is a refinement made in accordance with recent EU recommendations. “Osteolis” also contains an innovative ingredient recognized by "Novel Food" – vitamin K2, which enhances the product’s positive effects to the bones and protects blood vessels from calcification. 2011-04-01 JSC “Aconitum” exceeded all expectations regarding export development in the first quarter of 2011. Export and contract manufacturing of JSC “Aconitum” increased by 4.3 times during the first quarter of this year compared with the same period last year. It is planned that during the second quarter of 2011, export volumes will increase by 5.4 times. Production of JSC “Aconitum” such as medicines, food supplements and homeopathic medicines is exported to the Scandinavian countries, Poland, Ireland, Turkey, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Belarus, Russia and Azerbaijan. In the short term it is intended to encompass exports to Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. A new medicine will be soon introduced to the Lithuanian market and shortly after that exported to the Czech Republic and Slovakia. 2011-03-01 The third stage of Green Renewable Energy Systems project has been completed. The use of renewable energy can reduce CO2 emissions by more than 100 tons per year and reduce natural gas consumption by 77,000 cubic meters. Futhermore, solar power collectors have been installed for preparation of hot water used in industrial production. The collectors of 40 MW/h power produce up to 700 thousand liters of hot water per year (when heated from 10 to 60 ° C) or 430 thousand liters (when heated to 90 ° C). When hot water demand decreases, the heat surplus is accumulated in the storage containers, or diverted into the heating system. 2010-12-20 JSC "Aconitum" registered a new non-prescription medicine for osteoarthritis treatment “GLUCOSAN”. 2010-12-17 JSC "Aconitum" participated in the contest “Lithuanian product of the year 2010” organized by the “Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists”. Three products of JSC "Aconitum" were awarded gold medals: “Livosil” (OTC), “Oktazolis” (food supplement) and “Memoril forte” (food supplement). Furthermore, the company won the National competition "Innovation Prize" award and was recognized as a successfully operating company. 2010-12-07 The first implementation stage of green energy project has been completed. Energy from alternative resources will be used in the production process in order to reduce the emission of CO2. 2010-12-03 Ginkobil (OTC) and Triptosan (Rx) – two new medicines have been launched. Triptosan is the only natural antidepressant which has no analogue in Lithuania regarding composition. 2010-10-01 A joint venture “AkonitFarma” was founded for production and distribution of homeopathic and other medicines in Belarus. According to plan the new factory in Belarus will be constructed by August 2010. 2010-06-01"Aconitum" has moved to the new premises in Kaunas FEZ (Free Economic Zone). 2009-12-18 Following the decision of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists, „Aconitum“ was acknowledged as the „Successfully Operating Enterprise 2009“. 2009-12-18 Nutraceuticals „Meflovan complex“, „Iron + vitamin C prolong“ and „Vitamin C prolong + Iron“ were awarded the gold medal in the competition “Lithuanian Product of the Year 2009“. 2009-11-17 The company „Aconitum“ celebrated the 10th anniversary. 2009-10 -01 The first RX- medicine was registered (VINPOCETINE – aconitum 5 mg caps). 2009-04-01 Laboratory of microbiology and clinical research were established. 2008-12-15 „Vitamin C prolong“, the preparation intended to strengthen the immune system and general condition of the organism, was awarded the gold medal in the competition “Lithuanian Product of the Year 2008”. 2008-12-15 „Visterox“, the preparation intended to decrease cholesterol and other lipids in blood in case of cardiovascular diseases, was awarded the silver medal in the competition “Lithuanian Product of the Year 2008”. 2008-12-15 „Menacardin 7“, the preparation intended to protect the heart and blood vessels, and to reduce or to slow the process of vascular calcifications, was awarded the gold medal in the competition “Lithuanian Product of the Year 2008”. 2008-12-03 Preparation „Rutin forte“ became the laureate in the category “Innovative Product 2008”. The national competition “Prize of Innovations 2008” was organized by the Lithuanian Centre of Innovations. 2007-12-15 The preparation „Magnesium + B6 complex”, intended to use for strengthen the nervous system and to decrease the irritability of nerves and muscles, was awarded the gold medal in the competition “Lithuanian Product of the Year 2007”. 2007-12-14 UAB „Aconitum“ became the winner in the category “Innovative Enterprise 2007”. The national competition “Prize of Innovations 2007” was organized by the Lithuanian Centre of Innovations. 2008-01-31 UAB „Aconitum“ was nominated the sertificate of competition „Business Gazelle 2007“. 2007-12-14 „Aconitum“ became the laureate in the category “Innovative Enterprise 2007”. The national competition “Prize of Innovations 2007” was organized by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, and the Lithuanian Centre of Innovations. 2006-12-15 Following the decision of the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists, „Aconitum“ was acknowledged as the „Successfully Operating Enterprise 2006“. 2006-12-12 Liuberin, the food supplement for eyes’ function improvement, was awarded the gold medal in the competition “Lithuanian Product of the Year”. 2006-11-08 Preparation Antitox became the laureate in the category “Innovative Product 2006”. The national competition “Prize of Innovations 2006” was organized by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, and the Lithuanian Centre of Innovations. 2006-09-06 Following the decision of the “Knowledge Economy Forum”, UAB “Aconitum” was acknowledged as the “Company of Knowledge Economy 2006”. 2006-06-01 2nd manufacturing plant was launched. 2006-04-01 ACONITUM Club was established. This award was established by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists. 2002-06-05 The first food supplements Akolinas and Akovena were registered. 2001-05-16 The first homoeopathic medicines Acosedum and Acomininum were manufactured and registered and manufactured. 1999-06-18 UAB “Aconitum” was founded. |
